1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide when you create an account, connect a wallet, complete onboarding, submit creator or brand profile details, create campaigns, send offers, upload assets, or contact us.
This may include wallet addresses, account role, brand or creator profile details, social handles, campaign information, offer activity, uploaded images, contact details, and support messages.
2. Verification and campaign data
VerifiedCreators uses verification signals to help brands and creators evaluate authenticity, eligibility, and campaign fit. These signals may include wallet authentication, profile details, social account information, proof-of-humanity checks, engagement-related information, and platform activity.
We use this information to operate creator verification, campaign matching, dashboards, escrow-related workflows, fraud prevention, and platform integrity checks.
3. Google and YouTube user data
When a creator chooses to connect a YouTube channel, VerifiedCreators uses Google OAuth and the YouTube Data API. We request the scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.readonly. We do not request permission to upload, edit, delete, or manage YouTube content on your behalf.
Data accessed: With your authorization, we may access and store your Google account email address; your YouTube channel ID, display name, handle or custom URL, channel thumbnail, subscriber count, total view count, and video count; metadata and statistics for your public YouTube videos (such as video IDs, titles, thumbnails, publish dates, view counts, and like counts where available); OAuth access and refresh tokens needed to keep the connection working; and engagement-related metrics derived from your recent public videos.
Data usage: We use this Google and YouTube data only to verify creator identity and channel ownership, build and display a creator portfolio, calculate engagement metrics for campaign matching, sync recent public videos into creator profiles, and show relevant creator information to brands evaluating campaign fit. We do not use Google user data for advertising, sell it, or use it for purposes unrelated to providing VerifiedCreators features you request.
Data sharing: We do not sell Google user data. We may show limited creator profile information derived from YouTube (such as channel name, handle, follower count, engagement rate, and recent public videos) to brands on VerifiedCreators when those brands view a creator profile or evaluate campaign fit. We may share data with infrastructure and service providers that help us host the platform, operate databases, secure accounts, and deliver the product (for example cloud hosting and database providers). These providers process data only to provide services to VerifiedCreators. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect users, the platform, or others.
Data storage and protection: Google OAuth tokens and YouTube-related account data are stored on VerifiedCreators backend servers, not in public client-side code. Connections use HTTPS. Access to stored data is limited to systems and personnel needed to operate, secure, and support the platform. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect this information.
Data retention and deletion: We retain Google and YouTube data while your VerifiedCreators account is active and your YouTube channel remains connected, and for as long as needed to provide the platform, maintain business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations. You may disconnect or reconnect YouTube from your creator profile settings, update profile information in the product, or email support@verifiedcreators.io to request access, correction, or deletion of your data. When we receive a valid deletion request, we will delete or de-identify applicable Google and YouTube data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business needs such as completed campaign records, payment history, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution.
VerifiedCreators use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4. TikTok user data
When a creator chooses to connect a TikTok account, VerifiedCreators uses TikTok Login Kit and the TikTok API. We request the scopes user.info.basic, user.info.profile, user.info.stats, and video.list. We do not request permission to post, edit, or delete TikTok content on your behalf.
Data accessed: With your authorization, we may access and store your TikTok open ID, username, display name, profile link, avatar, follower count, following count, total likes, and video count; metadata and statistics for your TikTok videos (such as video IDs, titles, cover images, publish dates, view counts, and like counts where available); OAuth access and refresh tokens needed to keep the connection working; and engagement-related metrics derived from your recent videos.
Data usage: We use this TikTok data only to verify creator identity and account ownership, build and display a creator portfolio, calculate engagement metrics for campaign matching, sync recent videos into creator profiles, and show relevant creator information to brands evaluating campaign fit. We do not use TikTok user data for advertising, sell it, or use it for purposes unrelated to providing VerifiedCreators features you request.
Data sharing: We do not sell TikTok user data. We may show limited creator profile information derived from TikTok (such as username, follower count, engagement rate, and recent videos) to brands on VerifiedCreators when those brands view a creator profile or evaluate campaign fit. We may share data with infrastructure and service providers that help us host the platform, operate databases, secure accounts, and deliver the product. These providers process data only to provide services to VerifiedCreators. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect users, the platform, or others.
Data storage and protection: TikTok OAuth tokens and TikTok-related account data are stored on VerifiedCreators backend servers, not in public client-side code. Connections use HTTPS. Access to stored data is limited to systems and personnel needed to operate, secure, and support the platform.

You may disconnect or reconnect TikTok from your creator profile settings, update profile information in the product, or email support@verifiedcreators.io to request access, correction, or deletion of your data.
5. Instagram and Meta user data
When a creator chooses to connect an Instagram account, VerifiedCreators uses Instagram API with Instagram Login. We request the permissions needed to read basic professional-account information. We do not request permission to publish, edit, or delete Instagram content on your behalf.
Data accessed: With your authorization, we may access and store your Instagram user ID, username, display name, account type, profile picture, follower count, following count, media count, OAuth access token, token expiration information, and other account or public-media information made available under the permissions you approve.
Data usage: We use Instagram data only to verify creator identity and account ownership, connect the account to a creator profile, display relevant creator information, support campaign matching, and operate features you request. We do not sell Instagram or Meta user data or use it for unrelated advertising.
Data sharing: We may show limited creator profile information derived from Instagram, such as username, profile image, follower count, and account metrics, to brands evaluating campaign fit on VerifiedCreators. We may share data with infrastructure and service providers that process it only to host, secure, maintain, and support VerifiedCreators. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect users, the platform, or others.
Data storage and protection: Instagram OAuth tokens and related account data are stored on VerifiedCreators backend servers and are not placed in public client-side code. Connections use HTTPS, and access is limited to systems and personnel needed to operate, secure, and support the platform.
Data retention, disconnection, and deletion: We retain Instagram data while your VerifiedCreators account is active and your Instagram account remains connected, and as otherwise needed for legitimate business and legal purposes. You may remove or reconnect Instagram through creator profile settings where available, revoke VerifiedCreators access through your Instagram or Meta settings, or email support@verifiedcreators.io to request access, correction, or deletion. Following a valid deletion request or deauthorization notice, we will delete or de-identify applicable Instagram data within a reasonable period, except where retention is legally required or necessary for campaign records, payments, security, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution.
6. Wallets and blockchain activity
When you connect a wallet, we collect the public wallet address and related authentication signatures needed to confirm control of that wallet. We do not receive or store your private keys or seed phrases.
Blockchain transactions may be public and independently visible on-chain. Information recorded on a blockchain may not be removable by VerifiedCreators.
7. How we use information
We use information to provide and improve the platform, authenticate users, manage brand and creator accounts, support campaign workflows, process uploads, display dashboards, communicate with users, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
We may also use aggregated or de-identified information to understand platform performance, improve matching quality, and develop new features.
8. How information is shared
We share information between brands and creators when it is needed for campaign discovery, offers, deliverables, payments, reputation, and support. For example, a brand may see creator profile details and a creator may see campaign and brand information.
We may share information with service providers that help us run infrastructure, authentication, analytics, image hosting, communications, payments, security, and support. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect users, the platform, or others.
9. Cookies and local storage
We may use cookies, browser storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember account role and wallet session state, improve product behavior, and measure performance.
You can control cookies and site storage through your browser settings, but disabling them may affect sign-in, dashboards, and campaign flows.
10. Data retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the platform, maintain business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
Some information, including public blockchain activity, may remain available outside our control even if your VerifiedCreators account data is updated or deleted.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service, wallet integration, blockchain transaction, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for keeping your wallet, device, browser, and account access secure.
12. Your choices
You may update certain profile and account information in the product, including reconnecting or removing connected social accounts where the product allows it. You may also contact us at support@verifiedcreators.io to request access, correction, deletion, or other privacy-related action, subject to legal, security, and operational limits.
If you disconnect a wallet, remove a connected Instagram, YouTube, or TikTok account, or stop using the platform, some records may still be retained where necessary for campaign history, payments, fraud prevention, compliance, or dispute resolution.
13. Third-party services
VerifiedCreators may link to or integrate with third-party services, including wallets, blockchains, social platforms, cloud hosting, image hosting, analytics, and payment infrastructure. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
We are not responsible for third-party privacy, security, or data handling practices.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the product, legal requirements, or data practices evolve. When changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users through the product or other appropriate channels.
Continuing to use VerifiedCreators after an updated policy becomes effective means the updated policy applies to your use of the platform.
